THE WHITE SAGE STORY
Jana's wedding career began on the water, coordinating high-stakes celebrations on yacht charters in Southern California, where she mastered the art of managing pace, details, and the unexpected. After moving to Oahu, Hawaii, she launched an event planning business and discovered her passion for floral design. Seven years on the island refined her craft before she relocated to Sedona, where she spent over a decade as the Wedding and Event Specialist at the area's largest flower shop, cultivating their wedding business and deepening her expertise. During the pandemic, she began building White Sage as a way to create something more personal, focused, and design-led, a studio where elevated floral design and curated styling converge seamlessly. In 2022, she launched a boutique event rental company, and when clients began requesting florals again, White Sage Floral emerged: a collaborative studio where Jana and her dedicated team of floral artists create cohesive, unforgettable experiences.

Our approach is rooted in that setting, using palette, texture, and movement to create florals that feel elevated but never overstated. We love natural perfection, including the small, beautiful imperfections found in real blooms. We design florals that belong in the space, photograph beautifully, and feel like part of the landscape, not placed on top of it.
Jana + Mike
Owners, teammates, and the calm behind the scenes
White Sage is owner-led and hands-on, and you’ll feel that throughout the entire process. With Mike being the kind of steady support every event needs, the one making everyone laugh when the timeline gets tight and the one jumping in wherever help is needed. At home we have two small rescue dogs, one chihuahua mix and one pug, each with a big personality. Over the years, our family has changed and we’ve had to say goodbye to one of our beloved four legged teammates. We carry his memory and sense of loyalty into our work and how we service our clients.

Our studio is located in Sedona, and we service Sedona, Flagstaff, Jerome, Cottonwood, and select Northern and Southern Arizona locations. The WOW factor, without the stress
Our goal for every event is simple: we want you to walk in and think, “WOW, this is even better than we imagined.” We work tirelessly to make sure the colors, flower types, and design features planned are present and thoughtfully perfect on your wedding day. We do not take substitutions lightly, and care deeply about the details that make a design feel intentional and complete. When possible, we love going above and beyond, sometimes adding design elements that had to be cut from the budget, or adding extra flowers to make an arrangement fuller, more lush, and more impactful. We never overbook our schedule, because we want to be fully present, focused, and available. It’s one of the reasons our work feels so attentive. We take pride in making every couple feel seen, supported, and cared for throughout the process.
